Will softened water feel or taste different?

No. A water softener is designed specifically to reduce hardness. It does not filter bacteria, chemicals, or contaminants. For drinking water quality, it should be used alongside a dedicated filtration system.
Is soft water safe for daily use?
Yes. Softened water is safe for bathing, cleaning, laundry, and general household use. The hardness minerals are exchanged, not removed by filtration.
How does regeneration work?
