The pre-filter is the initial stage of our filtration process, designed to remove larger impurities such as sand, silt, and other large particles from the water. The pre-filter is constructed from chrome-plated brass and features a stainless steel mesh that is cleaned daily by an automated function using a stainless steel brush. This self-cleaning mechanism ensures that the pre-filter is virtually indestructible and never needs replacement, only periodic cleaning. This patented system protects and extends the lifespan of the subsequent filters, ensuring high performance and low maintenance.

Pre-Filter

At the heart of our system is the ultrafiltration membrane, which boasts a retention rate of 99.99% for bacteria and viruses. The membrane effectively filters out particles as small as 0.01 micrometers, ensuring that almost all contaminants are removed. This advanced filtration capability ensures exceptionally high water purification, making the water safe for various uses, including drinking and cooking. The membrane is designed for durability, with a typical lifespan of 10-12 years (or even longer) with annual maintenance, further enhancing its value and reliability. The system requires only 0.8 Bar of pressure to function efficiently.

Ultrafiltration Membrane

Our ultrafiltration system features an innovative “backflush” function, which automatically cleans the membrane by reversing the flow of water based on water flow and time intervals. This process is controlled by an integrated pump and a series of magnet valves that manage the reverse flushing to remove accumulated contaminants efficiently. The backflush function significantly improves system performance, reduces maintenance needs, and prolongs the membrane’s life by preventing clogging and maintaining optimal filtration efficiency. Water loss during backflushing is minimal, at about 2-3% of the filtered water, making it an efficient and cost-effective feature.

Backflush Function

After the ultrafiltration stage, the system includes an activated carbon filter, which further enhances water quality by reducing chemical impurities, unpleasant odors, and tastes. This filter effectively absorbs organic compounds, chlorine, and other chemical residues that may be present in the water. Depending on water quality, the activated carbon filter typically lasts between 6 to 12 months and is the only filter that requires regular replacement, ensuring ongoing high-quality water output.

Activated Carbon Filter

Our ultrafiltration systems are fully customizable to meet the specific needs of each customer. We consider factors such as the water source, the desired purification level, and the required capacity to provide an optimal solution. The system is designed to integrate seamlessly with existing water systems.  It accommodates various water qualities and is built to handle everything from coarse impurities to fine particulates, making it versatile for different applications.

Customized Solutions

Rate capable of delivering 600 liters of water per hour, suitable for commercial and industrial use requiring continuous water supply. This is our standard unit; however, we also offer systems with larger and smaller capacities to meet your specific needs.

High Flow Rate

Unlike some other water treatment methods, our ultrafiltration system retains essential minerals that are beneficial for health, such as calcium, magnesium, and potassium. This feature ensures that while harmful contaminants are removed, vital nutrients remain, providing not just clean but also healthful water.

Preservation of Essential Minerals

All components of the system, including the pre-filter, membrane, and activated carbon filter, are made from high-quality, corrosion-resistant materials. The pre-filter is chrome-plated brass, and the internal mesh and brush are 100% stainless steel, ensuring long-term durability and resistance to wear and tear.

Long-Lasting and Durable Materials

The system requires minimal maintenance, with an annual service recommended to ensure optimal performance. This service includes cleaning with citric acid, checking the magnet valves, and taking a water sample for analysis. Regular maintenance costs are moderate, around 50-100 euros per year, depending on water quality and usage, with replacement parts readily available. For more extensive annual servicing, the cost is approximately 250 USD. The system has a 4-year warranty and low energy consumption, making it an economical choice over its lifetime.

Ease of Maintenance and Low Running Costs

The system is designed to be user-friendly, with a straightforward installation process that typically requires a plumber for connection to the main water line. The included detailed manual provides clear instructions for all functions and maintenance procedures, ensuring easy operation. The system is also very quiet during operation, including the backflushing process, making it suitable for residential environments without causing noise disturbances.
